Keeping Kids Safe in 2013

June 22, 2013:  Windham Summerfest 

THANK YOU to Hannaford, Walmart and BJ’s for their donations. THANK YOU  to everyone who came by our table, bought something to eat or drink  and learned about Keeping Kids Safe.  We sold over 500 hamburgers.  THANK YOU for your support.   We’ll be back next year so bring your appetite.

May 9, 2013:  “Be Inspired and Take A Stand” Against Bullying Event was a great success.  

THANK  YOU to Betty Reynolds and Big Moose Harley for their amazing commitment and dedication to anti-bullying.  Thank you to Famous Dave’s, Pats Pizza, Molly’s Cupcakes and Carrabassett Spring Water for their donations of food and beverage,  Thank you to  Jillian Jensen, Shannon Selig, The Veayo Twins, Uncle Jim and the other amazing talent. Thank you to Nancy Silberkleit, Co-CEO of Archie Comics for taking the time to attend this event and speak about bullying.  Thank you to the JD Foundation and Bikers Against Bullying for sharing the informative and inspiring night with us.

March 30, 2013:  1st Annual Keeping Kids Safe Training Event  at Anytime Fitness, Northgate/Shaw’s Plaza, Portland,  This event was open to the public.

March 27, 2013: Bonny Eagle High School –  9th and 10th graders learned about Internet safety and the dangers they face every day online.

March 23, 2013:  6th Annual Childcare Conference “How To Be Safe On the Internet”  at  Windham SAC High School.

February 14, 2013Lyman Moore Middle School,Portland – 8th graders learned about Internet safety and the dangers they  face every day online.

February 5, 2013Dyer Elementary School,South Portland – we met with the PTA and discussed the benefits of Keeping Kids Safe for their school and our fundraiser

January 28, 2013Lyman Moore Middle School,Portland – 6th and 7th graders learned about Internet safety and the dangers they face every day online
